Many congratulations to The George at Bethersden for being voted Pub of the Year 2025.
The presentation will be held on Friday, 23rd May at 12.30pm.
- Smugglers' Alehouse in New Romney Closes
Monday 10 February 2025
The Smugglers' Alehouse which opened in February 2015 sadly closed on Sunday 9 February 2025. This was due to the lease expiring and the owner (who owns the barbers next door) wanting the shop for his own use.
The Smugglers' Alehouse will be sadly missed by all the regulars and occasional visitors and we wish Julie all the best for the future.
